CPETracker FAQs

How do I know if I have been approved to attend an event?

An event that you have added:

On your current information screen, you will see the event you have added with Pending Approval listed under the Act 48 hours.

An event you registered for:

Go to the Registration screen, find the event you registered for and under  Approval Status you will see Approved.

How do I delete an event that I have signed up for?

If it is an event you registered for that was listed in registration, go to the Registration screen and click on the Unregister link by the name of the event. If you have entered the event (Add CPE Event), go to the Current Information screen, open that event, scroll to the bottom of the page and choose Delete.

Why does an event indicate, "Pending Approval" under the Act 48 hours?

The Act 48 hours will not be entered until you have completed the requirements for attending the event: Post-Conference report form and have resubmitted the event by opening the event and choosing Requirements all met and submitting.

Please remember  to submit the Post conference report form (on the STSD Curriculum web site) after attending a conference or workshop.  If you received a certificate of attendance from the conference provider send a copy of the certificate via school mail to Louise Herrity's office. You also need to resubmit the event for final approval - click on the conference, uncheck the Pre-Approval box and check the Requirements All Met.

What information should be entered in the description box when adding an event?

Who:  is sponsoring the event?                                               What:  is the event?

Where:  is the event?                                                                   When: is the event?

                                                                                                           Starting/Ending Time

How: much does the event cost?

What if there is a cost involved for the event that I want to register for?

CLIU courses and workshops may have costs for the participants.  Before registering for a  course please open the description of the course and check to see if there is a fee.  If there is a cost you cannot indicate "No Payment Required" and register for the course.  If there is a fee you must get permission from your Principal to attend the activity and get a PO number (or check number if using a personal check).  To get a PO # you will need to give the building secretary the name and date of the activity.   After you have this information you can register for the course.  Open the description of the course  - in the payment information section select "Purchase Order" or "personal check"  from the drop down box.  In the box below indicate the check/PO# and in the box below indicate the amount. Please note, at this time the PO# must only be numerical, no characters. If there is no cost, choose "No Payment Required"

Can I use CPETracker to request reimbursement for college credit courses?

CPETracker is not currently being used to submit a credit reimbursement request for college courses. The procedure has not changed - The green form still needs to be completed and submitted to the Superintendent's Office.

I have entered a CPE event and it is not showing in my current information?????

After you have filled in all the information required and have clicked on Submit, and did not see the message that your entry has been successfully submitted, the event will not show up in your current information. Check to see what  the error message reads, check to see that you have chosen the correct provider ( Remember, if it is a Salisbury provider, make sure you chosen Salisbury Independent Study not *Salisbury Township.) and that you have filled in all of the required fields correctly.
