Text Box:      Students will receive homework on the first day of the school week and homework will be collected on the last day of the week.       Students are expected to practice Math flashcards on “Mental Math Monday”. The remainder of the week students are to complete skill practice sheets.     The vocabulary list should be reviewed each night during the week. The Rock-N-Rhyme song folder should be practiced one time per week.       Spelling homework begins about half way through the year.  Lists are practiced for two weeks.  Spelling activities will be due each Friday.        Homework should take 15-20 minutes each night.  Homework should be completed with the help of an adult.  Please sit with your child to complete the homework. Please be sure to initial the homework book every night. Back to Grade 1
