Five pocket folders (No trapper keepers, please)

Two single subject spiral notebooks

Soft pouch pencil holder
Study Skills
Physical setting
-
Choose a quiet location with minimum interruption.

Work seated at a clean desk or table.
-
Keep study materials conveniently at hand. Remove
anything not needed so you aren't distracted.

Use sufficient lighting.
Study routine
-
All students will use the assignment notebook which should
be checked daily by a parent.
-
Students will have approximately 30 to 45 minutes of homework
each day.
-
Homework may include written assignments, projects, and
studying for tests and quizzes.
Student responsibilities
-
Reading vocabulary and spelling notebooks should be routinely
studied and practiced. These notebooks will be updated throughout
the year.

Each day students are responsible to:
write
homework in their assignment notebooks.
take the notebooks home for their parents to see.
return the assignment books to school.

Students should use the study guides at home to help prepare
for the tests in Social Studies and Science.

Students are responsible to study all of the information
on the study guides and be able to write the essay answers in complete
sentences.
-
It is the responsibility of the student to remember to
take home all materials needed to complete all homework.
