- Salisbury Township School District is currently researching, reviewing,
and revising our elementary report card. We want to provide every parent
with the opportunity to complete this survey and give us your valuable
input. Please complete this form and return it in your child’s report
card envelope.

- The Approach to Learning area is important to me because it shows me how
my child engages in the learning process as well as her attitude toward
school.
- I think the report cards are very generic. They do not allow for any
feedback or comments from the teacher. It would be nice to know how our
child’s strengths and weaknesses, especially when you are given one 15
minute conference each year.
- After the grades, I value the approach to learning comments.
- Performance indicators provide additional insight into each academic
areas. Gives a comprehensive picture of the child.

- Would like side comments that show the strengths and weaknesses, not
just the grade.
- I do not value the report card as it is right now. Too vague. Seems to
be based more on the teacher’s personal opinion, but does not supply any
insight or “back-up” to support that opinion.
- It would be nice to see comments written by the teacher.
- I would like to see what level my child/children are at: below, on, or
above

- I would like to see grades for special subjects each quarter, too.
- As much as possible, written comments, without being a burden upon the
teacher.
- I know it’s extra work for teachers, but I think a personal note about a
child regarding his attitude, performance, social skills or whatever is
a nice touch and gives the parent additional information other than a
letter or a number.
- We consider Salisbury School District to be a hidden gem in the Lehigh
Valley. The small sized district provides wonderful educational
opportunities and helps develop social skills.

- I don’t like P, S, N or checkmarks. More info on what the student is
doing.
- I would like to see the grades correlated to the standards.
- I like the special sheets that come from ESL, Speech, Learning Support,
Gifted Support, and Instructional Support.
