The Pennsylvania
School Immunization Law
requires that all students
be fully immunized
before they can enter
school.
    
STATE MANDATED IMMUNIZATIONS
For original entry to Kindergarten
or First Grade:
-
DT or DPT
- 4 doses minimum, with 1 dose being given on or after the 4th
birthday.

MMR -
2 doses with 1st dose being given after the 1st birthday.

HEPATITIS B
- 3 appropriately spaced doses.
Beginning in the 2002-2003 school
year, school vaccination requirements have changed to include:

VARICELLA IMMUNITY -
either from vaccination, history of disease or lab testing, for new school
entrees ( Kdg. or 1st grade) and also for students entering 7th grade.

HEPATITIS B
- 3 doses for students entering 7th grade.
