Title I

    Welcome to the Title I homepage at the Harry S Truman School. Title I is a federally funded program designed to help students improve in reading. At the Harry S Truman School, Title I services are offered in all grades, Kindergarten through fifth. The Title I staff, which includes Mrs. Cathy Rae, Mrs. Patricia Jacoby, and Mrs. Lynn Jacoby meets with students in small group settings which provide an opportunity to meet individual needs.
    In addition to our Title I services, we also provide an Early Intervention Program (EIR) in first and second grades. EIR services are delivered daily to students with an emphasis on developing confidence through successful reading experiences.
