  • 105 families of 6th graders participated in SFP 10-14
  • 300+ 7th graders participated in All Stars in 2004-05
  • Parents said they learned how to: cool down before dealing with their child; try to see things from their child’s point of view; use and follow through with consequences
  • Youth said they learned how to: do positive things to relieve their stress; see things from their parents’ perspective; resolve problems with parents without yelling

SFP 10-14 has been proven to lower the incidence of involvement in negative behaviors (alcohol, drug, and tobacco use, crime, sexual activity) and strengthen the future leaders of our community.

For every $1 spent on prevention, the community saves $9.60. Now that’s a wise investment!
