FUTURE WORKSHOP: **PARENTS: If your senior student is planning on continuing his or her education after high school, and you would like financial assistance, you will need to file a Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). **Mark your calendars for Monday, January 14th at 6:30 pm in the high school library. If so, then you should complete the FAFSA (This is the free financial aid application form). This application must be completed in order to be eligible to receive any financial aid provided by the federal government. States and colleges also use the FAFSA to determine eligibility for state and institutional aid. The preferred method of filing the FAFSA is on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Do not file before January 1, 2008. However, you and you parent(s) should apply for your PIN numbers before beginning the application process at www.pin.ed.gov FAFSA Worksheets are available in the guidance office. SENIORS/JUNIORS:-Are you interested in taking a college course through LCCC’s PA Academy? You have the opportunity to earn college credits and save money. The rigor of the Academy course offerings will most certainly prepare students for the challenges of college beyond high school. Further details are available in the guidance office.OPEN HOUSES:-LCTI will host their Annual Open House on Thursday, November 15th from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. A presentation will be held in the cafeteria at 6:00 pm. Lab and instructor visitations will begin at 6:30 pm. -LCCC will host an Open House for prospective students and their parents from 6 to 7:30 pm, Wed., Nov. 7th in the Student Union on the college’s main campus, Route 309, Schnecksville.
