If your child is planning on continuing his or her education after high school, and you would like financial assistance, you will need to file a Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The preferred method of filing the FAFSA is on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You and your parent(s) should apply for your PIN numbers before beginning the application process at www.pin.ed.gov FAFSA Worksheets are available in the guidance office.
SAT: -College-bound Juniors should plan on taking the SAT I Reasoning Test on Saturday, March 1, 2008. Register on line at www.collegeboard.com. Be sure to enter our high school name in the “School Information” area. Registration deadline - Jan. 29, 2008.
SAT Preparation Course – Penn State Lehigh Valley: -Penn State is offering high school students a seven-week course to prepare for the SAT. It teaches proven test-taking techniques to help students realize their full potential on the test. This course will be offered at the Lehigh Valley Campus. The fee is $190.00. Dates: Saturdays, 1/12 thru 2/23, from 9:00 am to noon. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact Penn State @ 610- 285-5058.
