This class gives students the opportunity to study concepts specific to the area of music theory as well as basic arranging and computer notation technologies.  The goal of this class is to give students experience in creating music from the view point of the composer rather than the individual performer.  Topics such as basic rhythm notation, clef and note recognition, transposition, chords, and four part chorale style writing will be explored.
