Machine Against the Clock

 

 

The Salisbury HS Indoor Percussion Program enters is sixth year of competition in 2004.  The group is the two-time defending Chapter 2 TIA Class A Percussion Champion and has been a Finalist at the All-Chapter Championships in Wildwood the past two years.  The students also competed last season and were named a Finalist at the WGI Mid-Atlantic competition in Coatesville, PA.  The group would like to thank the Salisbury Music Association for their continued financial support.

 

This year’s program is entitled “TEST TRACK”, based around man’s pursuit for speed and his passion for automotive marvels.  Modern technology and ingenuity have always appealed for a faster, high performance race car.  The show depicts Indy Car racing during road course maneuvering at high velocities in a musical time trial throughout the performance.  Music selections include:
