The music department is currently using many software products and technologies to enhance creativity and expand student interest and involvement in the choral and instrumental music programs. SmartMusic is a very powerful music practice program that allows students to interact and play/sing along with fully orchestrated accompaniments in any key, at any tempo, with any instrument or the voice. Hundreds of method book exercises as well popular, jazz, and classical selections are also available for students to use. SmartMusic can record a student practice session and assess the performance. Students can even create their own music and import their work into the program. Listen to a couple of examples!
