HOMEWORK
Homework is given on a daily basis. This is done
to reinforce concepts taught at school and to teach responsibility.
Expect the amount of time it should take your child to complete assignments
to be between 15-30 minutes. Some days it could be more, others less.
This is a guideline. If you find that your child is doing more than
30 minutes a night or is having difficulty with an assignment, write a
note and send it to school with your child. Just let us know!
The following is a list of steps your child should
follow each evening. This will help them form good habits for doing
homework!
1. Show parents
work.
2. Do all assigned
homework. Place in right
pocket
of folder.
3. Correct and return
all incomplete work.
4. Study math facts
for 5 minutes.
5. Remember to read
for 10 minutes.
6. Return all completed
work. (Hole-punched
papers
must be returned, even if graded.)
7. All other papers
should be taken out.
8. Remember always
to do your best!
