FIFTH GRADE SUPPLY LIST
Dear Parents,
The following is a list of items needed for the fifth grade in September. It should be helpful to know what supplies are needed before school starts rather than spending money on unnecessary items.
holed notebook paper hole puncher (plastic ones that fit in binders work well)
colored pencils and markers reinforcements for paper
pencils tabbed dividers for binder
erasers protractor and calculator for math
(a see-through protractor with a sliding arm works best)
A 3-inch binder divided into six sections; Reading, English, Social Studies,
Science, Math, Spelling. Folders don’t work since papers get mixed – up,
but one can be kept in binder for homework. The binder should have three
rings.
Homework notebooks will be supplied.
A barrel sharpener will be needed for colored pencils.
glue sticks scissors
small packs of tissues highlighters
thesaurus/dictionary world atlas
twelve - inch ruler with both inches and centimeters
two book covers (for math and social studies books)
pencil box for desk or pencil case for desk or (zippered with holes) for binder
Please resupply mid-year.
