Dear Parents,
The following is a list of items needed for fourth grade in September. It should be helpful to know what supplies are needed before school starts, rather than spending money on unnecessary items.
Holed notebook paper
Hole puncher (plastic that fit in binders and have 3 holes at a time
Colored pencils and markers
Three pens (red, blue and black)
Erasers
One 3-inch binder/Trapper Keeper or 2 smaller binders of your choice
Scissors
Thesaurus/dictionary
Two folders with pockets
A 12-inch ruler (with inches/cm)
Reinforcements for paper (optional)
Pencils (NO LEAD/ MECHANICAL PENCILS)
8 tabbed dividers for binders- we will organize the first week of school
Glue stick
Highlighter
World atlas- optional-grade level appropriate
Crayons
In class we will divide the binders into sections (one section for each):
Math
Social Studies
English
Spelling
Science
Reading
There will be a small fee for the magazine “Time for Kids” in September. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Fourth Grade Teachers.
Assignment books for homework will be supplied.
