Instructional Support Team – I.S.T.

An Overview of the Instructional Support Team Process

      What are the specific interventions?

Who will implement and/or monitor the interventions?

How often will the interventions take place?

What will success look like for this student?

·         Each team member receives a copy of the Action Plan for confirmation and accountability purposes.

·         The effectiveness of the plan and the progress level of the student are continuously monitored.  The plan may be adjusted, as needed.

·         After a specified intervention period, the Instructional Support Team determines how to continue to meet the student’s needs through a continuum of services within the district (i.e., Early or Intermediate Reading Intervention support, individualized instruction, repeated practice opportunities, speech/language therapy, counseling, performance charting, etc.).
